I just want to put this out there for all of you teenage girls and parents:

Do not take your homecoming, courtwarming, or prom dresses to Joni's Fashions in Harrisonville, MO!

During the 2016 prom season, I saw a picture on Facebook of one of the dresses that I took to Joni to sell, on an Adrian girl at her prom. I contacted Joni, asking her about it, and she told me she "forgot to call me" to come get my money. So my mom and I went in and got our half of the sale. I left 2 dresses there and this past week I saw another Facebook post of someone in one of my dresses. I contacted this person and they said that they indeed did get the dress from Joni's months ago. So I contacted Joni AGAIN, and she claimed to have no idea what dress I was talking about or what girl bought it. So I sent her pictures of me in the dress and the other girl. She said she would go straight to a computer and look at it, but she never opened it or replied. A few days later my mom went in to the store to show her the pictures face to face and look for my remaining dresses. Joni automatically claimed to "remember the dress" and gave us half of what was written on my ticket, not even going back to look at what she sold it for. She is obviously very un organized and not professional at all! I just want my story to get out there in hopes that this doesn't happen to anyone else. Also, if you've taken dresses there before, I strongly suggest that you go in and check to see if they are still there. Luckily we kept our ticket or we may have not gotten our share of the money at all.
