A conversation in the office break room sparked as I was drinking my smoothie and explaining that eating healthy can keep me off of my high blood pressure medication, which is military service connected.
Well, one co-worker looks at me and says “Um, that’s hereditary; the military didn’t give you hypertension.” Of course, being who I am, I politely disagreed. She then said “I know because I only use facts.”
