DESCRIPTION
This divine piece of eveningwear with matching accessories is a mermaid's dream.

The gown features the most exquisite details including a lightly v-shaped lace peplum with scalloped edges and scalloped faux sweetheart bodice. It has a short front slit (which could easily be lengthened for maximum drama!) in the ankle length column skirt, and a subtly sexy back cutout. And did I mention the scalloping throughout, including where the rayon meets the lace at the top of front and back bodice, and at the bottom of the peplum, front and back. Bodice also has two lovely darts at the sides which are a bit lost in the pictures but speak to the high quality of the garment's construction. AND! This would be equally appropriate at the opera, a wedding, or with some purple accessories for an Ariel Disneybound. This baby has everything I live for in a 1940's dress - you better believe I'd be keeping it if it fit.

CONDITION & CONSTRUCTION
Excellent condition. There maybe might be the slightest bit of darkening at the bottom edge of the peplum but I honestly can't tell if my eyes are playing tricks on me. Lace upper bodice is lined with sheer mesh but otherwise unlined, no smells, rear metal zip and hook/eye.
